Different Shapes – but one size fits all!

We all come to God in different shapes.  Some are spiritually in shape, out of shape, well ‘rounded’, square, to the point, some are even ‘all lined up’.  No matter your shape, God is able to fill the container.  When God poured His Spirit out on the day of Pentecost he filled many vessels of many different shapes, sizes, and conditions.  God’s desire is to get IN!  “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock..” Rev 3:20.  Worry about the shape later, “LET JESUS IN”.  Peter let Him in his boat and was never the same.  Jairus took Jesus home and He raised his dead daughter.  Jesus makes for good company.  He sat and ate with misfits and vagabonds.  He went in and talked with publicans and sinners.  Your shape doesn’t inhibit God from moving or doing.  The creation story tells of a dark void of nothingness; then God moved into and upon it, and He began to speak and bring into existence the universe and all it’s beauty.  God can get you into shape quicker than you think. It only took God a week to create all we see. Let Him in!  I hear Him knocking now…….
