Ministries @ The Promise Center
The Promise Center has a number of growing ministries working to serve the needs of our congregation and community!
The Church in Prayer Ministry
Our prayer life is central to our relationship with God. The Church in Prayer ministry offers a time and place for corporate prayer. We meet every Monday evening from 7:30pm to 8:30pm @ The Promise Center. Come join us to pray together for our families, our friends, our Church, our leaders, our Nation and our World!
Food Pantry Ministry
In the Scriptures Jesus told Peter “If you love me, feed my sheep”. The Promise Center has a heart to supply our community with not only spiritual food, but food for the family table too. If a bag of groceries would be a blessing to you and your loved ones, please come to the Food Pantry on Saturday or Sunday afternoons from 1:00pm to 3:00pm @ The Promise Center.
StudentLife Ministries
StudentLife Ministries is comprised of many smaller ministries, each designed to meet the needs of our Church’s youth – from the youngest of students all the way through college age students. We have a team of Kid-Pastors – StudentLife Kids, Pre-Teen Pastors (WildSide), Jr. High Pastors (JHM), Sr. High Pastors (HSM) and College Pastors (College Age) that are each equipped with their own resources, case studies, curriculum and staff/team members to ensure a Biblically sound road for the journey of every student here @ The Promise Center.
Small Group Ministries
The Promise Center believes that in order to be a healthy Church, we need to grow smaller as we grow bigger. What that means is, that only through close-knit community fellowship environments can people truly grow in Christ! That’s why we encourage everyone to get involved with one of our small group ministries. Not only are they a great way to learn more about God and the Scriptures, but they’re are also a great way to make new friends and have some fun too! We have a Life Studies small group that meets every Tuesday evening, open to anyone who wants to learn more about God and develop a better understanding of what God’s Word (the Holy Bible) says. We also have Mens and Womens Bible study groups, a Young Mother’s group, a group for our Elder Community (60+) and more!
Freedom Now Ministry
Freedom Now is a Christ centered 12-step recovery ministry. If you need help overcoming an addiction (of any kind) we invite you to please come join us for deliverance! We meet at 7:30pm every Tuesday evening @ The Promise Center.
Jail Visitation Ministry
The Bible tells us that Jesus came to set the captives free. While we can’t free anyone from a physical jail cell, by showing up to talk and pray with those who find themselves incarcerated, we can help lead them to Christ who can set them free from a life of sin, disappointment and despair.
